so back to ingles now. many days have passed by without me being able to wrote anything on my blog. it`s because i was travelling alot and not staying very long in one place. especially because chile is so expensive. but i also saw the most amazing things in the world and done things i´ve never done before. So it`s kinda balanced everythings i think. the last publication i´ve made i was in Viña now i want to give you my report about La Serena, San pedro de atacama and of course my crossing to Bolivia through the blinding salt flats of Uyuni. it was amazing weeks although it goes rather fast i think.

La Serena
the amazing Reserva nacional de humboldt penguins (isla Damas) i will never forget it. it was really amazing to be able to see the aminals so close and especially the bottlenose dolphins that pops out of nothing and the cute baby seals, baby penguins and baby dolphins. also sea otters and alot of birds. and the strange looking rock in isla damas but on contrary the most beautiful beach ive ever seen. i´ve learned alot about the nature just being here in SA and not to be in school, i really think that university back home really need a better exchange program and allow all of the students to go backpacking. maybe i should write a letter to the secretary of education ;)

San pedro de atacama
the 16 hours bus ride to san pedro was one of the most beautiful busride ive ever done. although after a while i kinda get bored of only seeing dessert and sand. arrived in san pedro it was hot and dusty. got accomodation really quick because every hostees were on tourist hunting (and believe me San pedro is really touristic).
but on the good side was ive met a group of chilean docents from chillan. they were really nice and invited me to joined their group to go to valle da luna (photo on top) and of course the geysers of El Tatio. i think they were the most pleasant chillean people iveever met. but again ive not met many chilleans. ja ja ja
after the geyser i went for sandboarding. it was alot of fun but to go up is exhausting. they really need to build a lift there.
Salar de Uyuni (Bolivia)
the vulcanos, the lagunas, the flamengos, the cold hail, funny looking rabbit, lot of cactus, sand and more sand, hotel build from salt. and in the end there it was the blinding salt flats of Uyuni, the highest and maybe the biggest salt flat in the world. or as i called it ¨gudang garam¨. it`s maybe one of the most beautiful places in Bolivia and must see if you are going to visit Bolivia.

the downside of all that beauty is the altitude. it´s so high that every day my head is spinning. and always breath really heavily. especially the first day was horrible. but the snow capped vulcanos and the tree of stone makes it worth. and of course the blinding white flats.

Now i´m in Tupiza, 200 km south of uyuni. the bus ride to here was amazing. especially when we met another bus coming from the other direction. and just right to us is a cliff of 50 m. Puta, if we fell... then what that´s what i had in my mind. it`s not only one the world most dangerous road here, but every road is the most dangerous. But here in Bolivia is the first time i fell that i´m in South america. the women here still wearing there traditional clothing and the most beautiful buildings are the church on the plaza. the houses are not painted and they look really horrible actually. but now i really feel that i`m in the heart of South america. the more freightning thing is next sunday is the election day. so... i´m heading to Tarija, Sucre and Santa Cruz. just to let you know.

Suerte y salud
Ch´

Hola my son,

Hier is nog een klein berichtje van mij.
Op je Weblog heb je aan het begin het volgende geschreven

Buenos Dias .. o bom dia. yo inicio una expedicion hacia america del sur por ciento noventa y uno dias. (works in progress, please send me the right sentence =)

Veel succes de komende trips en have fun and stay safe.

Je trotse vader

I was very glad to view your comments regarding entrepreneurship
"Entrepreneurs are simply those who understand that there is little difference between obstacle and opportunity and are able to turn both to their advantage" I think this sums it up very wisely...I am also a student of entrepreneurs...I would love to correspond with you in a timely fashion...If you agree..Please write to: jcnogalesp at gamail dot com Thank you!!
