Coffee museum and the tram

day 6: (31-08-2008)

okay the first thing on the list today is the : COFFEE MUSEUM. if you are in Santos you deffinetly need to see this, otherwise your missing a good history lesson. Coffee is what make santos the city it is now. A port to export coffee to Europe. The museum itself was the old restored coffee auction house, inside there were 3 paintings symbolises the estebalishing of Santos. really beautiful. they also have some echibition about the japanese immigrants working for the coffee plantation. by the way, you can feel the impact of the japanese immigrants. because there are alot of japanese restaurants and corporations around Santos. actually, we were going to the museum for the coffee, because the coffee of the museum is one of the best in Brasil. after the museum we went for a ride in the restored tram that runs through the center of Santos. short ride buit it was worth it. and then there was still time to see the Santos football stadium, yep the one where Pele started his carreer. esta bien.... that was all in Santos. tommorow we want to go to Sao Paulo.
